The Behavioral Research and Therapy Clinics (BRTC) of the University of Washington is a clinical research centre focusing primarily on the development and evaluation of psychotherapies for individuals with severe and chronic personality disorders. BRTC has been associated with the development of DBT in association with Dr. Marsha M. Linehan.

The Linehan Board of Certification is the non-profit organization that developed the DBT certification process approved by the treatment developer, Dr. Marsha Linehan. Certification and accreditation is now becoming established in the United States as a way of ensuring the quality of DBT providers. You may want to read up on this rising development.
Adherence & Fidelity Website A free, pragmatic measure to evaluate if the DBT treatment being delivered is done so in accordance with the evidence-based model. This is the only validated, publically available method of determining in DBT is being delivered adherently. You can access copies of the scale and supporting documents as developed by Dr Harned and her colleagues.
